Seattle Sounders FC will continue to be on Q13 and JoeTV in 2015. The match broadcasts will also include a 30-minute postgame show, new this year. The club also released details regarding regional cable on ROOT SPORTS (adding a biweekly magazine show). English language radio home will continue on 97.3 FM and Spanish radio continues on 1490 ESPN.
Pregame, halftime and postgame will be hosted by Jackie Montgomery with a rotating cast of analysts that will include Taylor Graham (per release), Pete Fewing and others per the release. Marcus Hahnemann and Steve Zakuani were mentioned on Q13 today as other members of that group. Ross Fletcher and Kasey Keller remain the primary play-by-play and color commentary voices of the team.
The ancillary programming is expanding quite a bit from 2014. Q13 is adding weekly coverage on "Q It Up," ROOT is adding the biweekly magazine show. Radio partner 97.3 FM is shifting their weekly show from Saturday mornings on a different network to Thursday evenings at 9 PM with host Jason Rantz.
"We are proud to announce a renewed television partnership with Q13 and JOEtv for a second season. As a club, we were thrilled with the success of our local television broadcasts last year - the best in MLS - and have every intention of increasing those numbers in 2015," said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer via club release. "Additionally, we're excited to once again partner with ROOT SPORTS to allow fans across the Pacific Northwest to view Sounders FC matches."
Those people outside of the Seattle TV market will get live or replays of games depending on other sports schedules. Per the release ROOT is "the live out-of-market home of Sounders FC regional broadcasts, bringing the Rave Green to households throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. ROOT SPORTS is also set to re-air Sounders FC broadcasts regionally throughout Western Washington."
Spanish radio partner 1490 ESPN returns for a second straight year.
The club did not announce which matches will be on ROOT live. The full match-day schedule, TV and radio partners is below;
