Adam West finished his last game at the Tacoma Soccer Center on Saturday night with a goal and 2 assists, as the Stars defeated the Oly Town Artesians 10-5 to advance to the WISL Final. This is West's final weekend with Tacoma, before he leaves for Louisville to begin training with his new club, Louisville City FC of USL Pro.

Derek Johnson opened the scoring with a little over 6 minutes remaining in the first quarter. After Cam Vickers made it 2-0, Johnson added his second goal of the quarter to give Tacoma a 3 goal lead. Joey Gjertsen made it 4-0 in the final minute of the first quarter. P. J. Vargas pushed the lead to 5-0 with an off-the-wall goal with a little under 9 minutes remaining in the second quarter. Oly Town managed to snap Tacoma's 5-0 run with Tom Kemennu's goal that came with 3:22 left in the first half.

Oly Town got its second goal with under 7 minutes remaining in the third quarter to pull the Artesians to within 3 goals of the Stars, making the score 5-2. That was the closest Oly Town would get. Adam West extended Tacoma's lead to 4 on a set piece goal that came just after Oly Town had successfully killed a Tacoma power play.

Cam Vickers got his second goal of the match 2 minutes into the fourth quarter. Jamael Cox's assist on Vickers' second goal was his second assist of the game. Oly Town was able to respond with a goal from Aaron Burns on a power play with about 10 minutes left in the game to make the score 7-3. Byron Conforti extended the Stars lead to 5 goals with about 5 minutes remaining. Gibson Bardsley scored just seconds later to make it a 6 goal lead for the Stars. Just a few seconds after Bardley's goal, Garrett Lomanto made it 9-4. Tacoma's final goal came in the form of a Kyle Danielson goal from a power play with 3 minutes left in the game. Oly Town's scoring was capped off by a power play goal by Greg Wolfe with just under 2 minutes left in the game, bringing the final score to 10-5.

With the win, Tacoma advances to the WISL Final, in which it will host Bellingham United FC at the Tacoma Soccer Center next weekend.
