Here's how Sounders scored fastest goal in franchise history

The Seattle Sounders got off to quite a start on Saturday, needing just 18 seconds to find the back of the net against the San Jose Earthquakes.

The play starts with Lamar Neagle getting the ball on the wing and pushing it forward to Dempsey, who fights off a defender, keeps his feet and pushes the ball back out to Neagle. Neagle's cross is deflected, but it goes back to him. His second cross is also deflected, but it goes right to the feet of Tyrone Mears who hits a half-volley from about 20 yards out. David Bingham makes the save, but Dempsey is waiting on the doorstep to head in the rebound.
