Micheal Azira called to Uganda National Team, report says

Jennifer Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Sounders FC will be shy one midfielder during the Tuesday night friendly against Xolos of Tijuana. Goal.com reports that Micheal Azira was called into the 25-man Uganda team that will face Nigeria in a friendly next week.

Azira's had a few other calls since becoming a Sounder, but he was either injured or turned them down (non-FIFA dates) due to club commitments. From the 23rd to the 31st of March is an official FIFA window which means those called must report if in good health.

Seattle is also likely to be without Clint Dempsey against FC Dallas since Klinsmann is calling in a strong squad. The Sounders could also be without Marco Pappa if Guatemala calls him in to their side.

With a number of key absences a return of Osvaldo Alonso and recovery by Tyrone Mears would go a long way in solving Sigi Schmid's lineup calculus.

There is a strong possibility the club will be without four starters and one key rotational player on March 28th when they take on a strong undefeated FC Dallas.
