Starting with a lineup greatly reduced due to National Team duty and injury Seattle Sounders got an early break when Kellyn Acosta came in with a high boot to Andy Rose's body.
FC Dallas stopped that counter attack, but dropped to 10 men in the 18th minute. They also are using their third string left back as Acosta is their second choice and their first is away for the international break.
