With the worry of the CBA now behind us, let's reminisce one more time about the Seattle Sounders' best season yet.
Jane and I compiled some of our favorite photos from the 2014 season -- from the first day of preseason on January 25th, to final match of the playoffs on November 30th.
It was a long season filled with some pretty memorable moments:
- Osvaldo Alonso squares off with Michael Bradley
- Clint Dempsey hat-tricks in Portland
- Oba flips
- Marco Papa flips
- Clint launches into space
- Chad Barrett dances... like a teapot (?)
- Obafemi Martins scores Goal of the Year (and see the look he was making during the now famous "Bush-face")
- DeAndre Yedlin bleeds
- Marcus Hahnemann kisses the ball and chugs beer
- Zach Scott reaches 300
- Oh, and Sounders claim a little thing called the Supporters' Shield
