The Brougham Block Party is back

ECS invites one and all to Fuel Sports Bar Sunday for the annual celebration of Cascadia Cup action.

This weekend, the Seattle Sounders host the Portland Timbers for the first time in 2015, and that's an occasion for a party. Continuing their established tradition, the Emerald City Supporters are hosting an extra-big warmup bash before the match, known as the Brougham Block Party.

To crank up the intensity of your Cascadia Cup clash experience, you can head to Fuel Sports Bar at Occidental and S. Washington Street in Pioneer Square on Sunday at 2 PM. The festivities include a beer garden, full bar, and food, of course, but the real fun is getting hyped up for one of the biggest home games of the year with many (many) of your rowdiest friends in green, blue, shale, white, black, electricity and cyan.

If you're looking to learn about or join ECS or purchase some merchandise, this is the pregame spot for you as well. But if you won't be sitting with a supporters group at CenturyLink, this is a good chance to sing, chant, scream and generally revel with some of the loudest Sounders fans around. (Protip: Don't lose your voice completely before the match starts.)

This is unsurprisingly a 21+ event, and there will be no entrance charge. If you can make it, ECS promises the "largest pre-match event in the country," that will "help Sounders fans reignite the flames of the Cascadia rivalry." They also promise extra restrooms, which is a must whenever the words "beer garden" are involved. Wear your Sounder at Heart gear and make real friends out of internet friends! Cascadia is back!
