The boys are back in town. After a weakened trip to Frisco, Texas the Seattle Sounders are back at CenturyLink Field. These full strength (or nearly so) Sounders take to the local airwaves on Q13. They take on a Houston Dynamo side that is no longer coached by Kinnear. Now it is Owen Coyle trying to lead them back to the MLS Cup Playoffs, but do so in the LA/Seattle dominated Western Conference.
Referee: Ted Unkel
MLS Career: 16 games; FC/gm: 25.4; Y/gm: 3.5; R: 3; pens: 6
AR1 (bench): Corey Rockwell; AR2 (opposite): Paul Scott; 4th: Allen Chapman
Suspended after next two yellow cards: HOU: Kofi Sarkodie
Injured Report
Probable: HOU: Clark, Beasley | SEA: Alonso, Dempsey, Marshall, Martins
What to Watch:
- Don't hang CBs to dry - A full strength XI is available, but that does not mean the central midfielders can allow penetration like they have in the first three games.
- Drift compatible - Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins are among the best forward pairings in MLS history. It's time for the two to contribute to at least two goals.
- Get width from fullbacks - Pappa and Neagle like to work underneath and along Clinfemi Demptins. That means Mears and Gonzalez need to provide the width.
