In his last start, Chad Barrett had a rough go, missing several wonderful chances as the Seattle Sounders settled for a 0-0 tie. There will be no such repeat in his second start. Barrett bagged his second goal of the game in the 38th minute, taking a Marco Pappa over-the-top pass and beating David Ousted to the far post.
It was a near carbon-copy of the play that set up Barrett's first goal and gave him four goals in just six Cascadia Cup appearances. It was Pappa's fifth assist of the season, tying with several players -- including teammate Clint Dempsey -- for the league lead.
