Victor Mansaray returns from US 18s trip with goal, assist

Today Victor Mansaray and the United States U18s returned from their trip to Bosnia-Herzegovinia. The two week long trip featured two matches against the Bosnian U18s and started with a game against Široki Brijeg, a Bosnian Premier League team currently in 4th in that league with 15-3-7 +23 record. Široki Brijeg also has a U20 side.

Mansaray started against Široki Brijeg, scored the first goal and assisted on the second.

In the second friendly of the trip Vic started, playing 73 minutes, but did not score. The USA lost 1-3 after scoring the first goal.

The third match was repeat of the second, this time with an American 1-0 victory with the goal coming from the spot.

Mansaray did not start in that match.

The team is back in the states with players returning to their high schools, colleges and in Mansaray's case to his MLS 1st team side. The 18-year-old has 16 minutes in two appearances in MLS play and 196 minutes in three appearances and goal with S2.
