There is a saying you may have heard: "Look good, Play good." These days, Obafemi Martins makes it all look good. Martins was voted MLS "Player of the Week" after his two-goal performance against NYCFC.

Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins are on pace to make some records of their own this season.  For the fans at CenturyLink Field this just means more fire for the masses. One reason they could be breaking records this season is because new Seattle Sounders coach Ante Razov has asked them to shoot more.

About 140 kids showed up Monday night at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila in hopes of becoming the next Lamar Neagle or DeAndre Yedlin. The Sounders Academy is holding their yearly U14 academy tryouts and come Thursday 18-22 kids will have their green dreams come true.

Cristian Roldan the 19-year-old Sounder is hoping that his strong start in MLS, along with a recommendation from coach Sigi Schmid, will earn him a spot on Tab Ramos' U-20 squad.

The U.S. will hope to be in the championship or third-place game, both scheduled for June 7.

The USMNT will play a final warm-up game for the Gold Cup on July 3 against Guatemala in Nashville, Tennessee. The U.S. will open Gold Cup play June 7 against Honduras.
