The Seattle Sounders will be going with an even more makeshift starting lineup that had been expected. While Brad Evans and Obafemi Martins will both be on the bench, Osvaldo Alonso did not even make the 18-man squad. The Sounders are also without Marco Pappa, who's on national team duty. Instead, Zach Scott will get his second straight start and newly signed Thomas will get his first MLS start.

FC Dallas, though, isn't much better off especially in defense where two players who are normally midfielders are starting as fullbacks.
