Episode 184: In which we all shred the referee's notebook

It's been a crazy week for the Sounders and we're back to do our best to make sense of things.

Jennifer Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Sounders lost to the Timbers in the US Open Cup, thanks in large part to the rather questionable performance of an unexperienced referee. It got so bad that Clint Dempsey went mental, stole the referee's notebook and tore it up. When that happens, you know we're gonna have to talk about it.

Jeremiah, Aaron and Zach offer their opinions about the match, the red card incidents, and the fact that US Soccer assigned such a novice to a huge rivalry match. We talk about the FC Dallas match a little, and briefly look ahead to San Jose.

We also answer your listener questions.
