Seattle

In addition to the soccer match, I think it's fair to say that the Sons of Ben won the tifo competition yesterday.

MLS

The game didn't go as we hoped yesterday, but a little schadenfreude never hear anyone so feel free to cheer yourself up by taking in this Timbers match recap.

We're halfway through the MLS Season and MLS Live has correspondingly cut the price in half. It is now $37.99 for the remainder of 2015.

The Red Bulls only needed a 4th minute goal against Real Salt Lake to secure their victory. This was made easier after RSL had two players ejected in the 40th and 55th minute.

USA

Grant Wall published a long form article on the former "Kit Man" of the USWMNT and why he was fired during the lead up to the World Cup.

American Soccer Now analyzes Klinsmann's decisions on the Gold Cup roster, although they don't address Jordan Morris' exclusion.

Landon Donovan also reacted to the announced Gold Cup roster.

World

Fusion describes Copa America as a story of the haves and have nots. I would note that this would describe the vast majority of soccer tournaments and leagues around the world.

Chilean Gonzalo Jara has been banned from the rest of the Copa America after pulling what I believe is officially called "The Robbie Keane Maneuver".
