Cascadia Cup standings & scenarios

Seattle Sounders FC currently lead the 2015 Cascadia Cup standings, while playing one match less than the two lesser Cascadia MLS teams. Today's match against the Portland Timbers is a chance to eliminate them from the 2015 Cup contest.

A win by Seattle puts them on 9 points with three matches to play. Portland would be on only a single point with two left in the season. Vancouver Whitecaps would be able to catch and/or pass the Sounders in their remaining matches.

A draw today means that the Sounders would have 7 points, and the Timbers 2. Technically, the Timbers could still pass the Sounders, but it would be difficult. Portland would need to win its final two matches, and Seattle would need zero points in three games. Vancouver Whitecaps would be able to catch and/or pass the Sounders in their remaining matches.

A loss by Sigi's team would leave them on six points with three to play. Porter's squad would be able to win the 2015 Cascadia Cup outright with this result. They would have 4 points with 2 matches to play. Vancouver Whitecaps would be able to catch and/or pass the Sounders in their remaining matches.
