Chad Barrett and Lamar Neagle will start up top and look to set fire to this weakened Timbers backline. Still no Osvaldo Alonso in this one as Michael Azira and Gonzalo Pineda start together in the middle of the park. Andy Rose and Marco Pappa will facilitate the attack from the wings as we've seen in about half of the matches this season.
The backline sees one change from the one the typical shutout line with Oniel Fisher starting at LB tonight, instead of RB like he did in Philly, with Tyrone Mears back in at RB. Brad Evans will captain back in his regular CB spot with Chad "Air Marshall".
With Barrett paired up top, Neagle will not have to be the hold up man and can make dashing runs behind the Portland defense that is without DP CB Liam Ridgwell.
