Jordan Morris put this image out on social media today. There's no further explanation and the Sounders have so far not given any comment, which makes sense since he's not their player. There's been no official comment from U.S. Soccer or Stanford, either, but Grant Wahl said it was to repair a stress fracture. This would at least help explain why Morris was left off the Gold Cup roster.
