Clint Dempsey may already be the father of four children, and if that's the case there's at least a chance he traveled with the Seattle Sounders for Saturday's road match against Sporting Kansas City. Of course, the Sounders are more than happy to hold that information until the last possible minute.
Sounders mum on whether or not Clint Dempsey travelled to Kansas City (he's waiting on his fourth child). New meaning to #DempseyWatch

Forced to guess, it has always looked like Dempsey would prefer to remain with his wife. The Sounders have voiced support for that decision and this is, after all, why he's still in the United States and not in Europe.
So where does this leave the Sounders? If Chad Barrett is also out, and he missed at least one day of training with a hamstring injury, that probably means a formation change for the Sounders. Lamar Neagle would be the obvious choice to start as a lone forward and that would leave the Sounders packing in a five-man midfield, likely including Andy Rose, Cristian Roldan, Marco Pappa and Micheal Azira. That fifth spot could go to someone like Aaron Kovar or possibly Darwin Jones.
