The two teams played to a nil-nil draw with stronger teams just a couple weeks ago. Now when Seattle Sounders FC and Sporting Kansas City meet both sides will be down even more talent due to international calls, surgeries, pregnancies, suspensions. Seattle is almost certainly without their three DPs, so Sigi Schmid's tactics will need to shift. That likely means that the Sounders will try to stuff the midfield and deal with pressure while hoping that a player like Lamar Neagle, Marco Pappa or Darwin Jones has a singular moment of magic.
