Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins make the MLS All-Star Game

Sounders Clintfemi named to their 2nd MLS All Star game.

Jaime Valdez-USA TODAY Sports

As expected the pairing known as Clintfemi will be making their way to Colorado for this year's MLS All Star game against Tottenham Hostpur. The MLS side was selected via a fan vote, commissioner picks, and FIFA goals to start with. The top 10 vote getters and the forward who has the most goals scored on FIFA 15 will suit up as the 11th member of the starting XI in a 3-4-3.

Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins have lit up the league this season and are rewarded with the highest midseason honor the MLS has, an all star appearance. This marks both players second straight MLS all star appearance.

The 20th MLS All Star match will be played on July 29th against a fairly full strength Tottenham side that while it has not yet announced its travel roster will hopefully include former Sounder and 2-time MLS All Star DeAndre Yedlin. Starting goal keeper, Hugo Lloris will not be playing after suffering a broken wrist.

Dempsey was named via fan vote while Martins was named via FIFA 15 goal scoring. The rest of the MLS roster will be announced Saturday by coach Pablo "Mustache-less" Mastroeni and hopefully has players that actually have MLS minutes (cough cough Garber).

Goalkeeper: Nick Rimando (RSL)
Defenders: Omar Gonzalez (LA), Matt Besler (SKC), DaMarcus Beasley (HOU)
Midfielders: Kaka (ORL), Michael Bradley (TOR), Benny Feilhaber (SKC), Graham Zusi (SKC)
Forwards: Clint Dempsey (SEA), David Villa (NYC), Obafemi Martins (SEA)

Commissioner Picks- Steven Gerrard (LA), Frank Lampard (NYC)
