One Sounder added, Obafemi Martins removed from MLS All Star Roster

During halftime of the Gold Cup match between Cuba and the United States Fox and Major League Soccer announced the rest of the gameday roster for the All Star Game against Tottenham on July 29th. Already Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins were part of the Fan XI. Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard were named as Commissioner's Picks. Today's announced players were picked by coach Pablo Mastroeni to fill out a healthy 18 21.

He selected Chad Marshall from the Seattle Sounders. Martins will be staying in Seattle for health reasons. The additional new All Stars are;

Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy)

Chad Marshall (Seattle Sounders FC)
Drew Moor (Colorado Rapids)
Chris Tierney (New England Revolution)

Goalkeeper (1)

David Ousted (Vancouver Whitecaps FC)

This year a total of 34 All Stars will be named with the non-gameday roster being selected by the players. All 34 players will receive bonuses.
