Sounders lose in Montreal: Player ratings form

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Another loss, the same but different. Another late goal sinks the Sounders, another game with an utter lack of a scoring threat from anyone in rave green. Another gaping hole where Clintfemi should be.

The scoreline is familiar, but Sigi Schmid did try a new combination of players in different spots. Zach Scott acknowledges that he made a mistake on the Impact goal, but he and the defense nearly pulled out another clean sheet. Lamar Neagle and Chad Barrett missed the rare chances they got. Passing was suspect and out of sync in the midfield.

The team has work to do as a unit to find their rhythm again. But, as Sigi said: "The players have to play better."

How did they do this week?
