The Seattle Sounders are still significantly short-handed, but at least they have Osvaldo Alonso back. The defensive midfielder is in the starting lineup vs. D.C. United on Friday, possibly the key element in a five-man midfield that will likely feature Gonzalo Pineda and Cristian Roldan in more attacking roles.

Other changes from the Sounders' last match include Thomas returning the midfield in place of Andy Rose, Zach Scott entering for Brad Evans and Dylan Remick reassuming his spot as the left full back.
Here's the bench:
Bench: Perkins (1), Ockford (21), Gonzalez (12), Azira (42), Rose (5), Craven (99), Jones (17)

Based on that, it would appear that Andy Craven may have surpassed Victor Mansaray on the depth chart, as this is the second straight match in which the newly signed S2 player has featured.
