Victor Mansaray named to US U-18 roster for the NTC Invitational

The United States U-18s will play a three-team tournament with Uruguay and the Czech Republic July 11-15 at StubHub Center. U18 coach Javier Perez named Victor Mansaray as one of four MLS players to the roster. The NTC Invitational is preparation tournament for the U18s which soon be starting the qualification process for the next U20 World Cup.

Mansaray is one of six forwards listed on the roster, a loaded position for the U18s, which includes a Villarreal CF forward, FC Dallas' Coy Craft, NY Cosmos' Haji Wright and two MLS Academy players. Real Salt Lake's Sebastian Saucedo was called up while teammate Justen Glad, who was called up last time, was left behind. Ben Swanson of the Crew was the other MLS midfielder called up. Jurgen Klinsmann 's son, Jonathan is one of the two keepers called up for this tournament.

The Sounders will lose Mansaray for the 1st team match against Chicago this weekend and S2 will lose him for Sunday's match against Arizona United.

All tournament matches will be streamed live on ussoccer.com. The US plays Uruguay Saturday at 4pm and Monday against the Czech Republic at 5pm.
