Well, the cautious optimism of the first half gave way to what we all thought might happen in the second. Another loss that was perhaps made less painful (or just more excusable) by the circumstances: The chances of a win away at StubHub Center are never very good. Also, Chad Barrett broke the scoreless drought in MLS play, and there was some promising midfield play, especially in the first 45.
