With four changes from the loss to LA, Sigi Schmid is fielding a closer the Seattle Sounders Ideal XI. Obafemi Martins returns to the starting squad and is partnered with former teammate and fresh signing Nelson Valdez . The midfield has Brad Evans, Erik Friberg, Andy Rose and Lamar Neagle. In defense are Oniel Fisher, Ramon Torres, Chad Marshall and Tyrone Mears. Stefan Frei continues his strong year in the pipes. It is a return to the 4-4-2.
