Sounders lose at CD Olimpia: Community Player Ratings Form

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

In midweek CONCACAF Champions League action, more than 3,000 miles away, with a mostly second-choice team, this was a decent result. Most fans were hoping for the away tie, but at least the Sounders put in a gutsy performance and made it a very tough game for CD Olimpia, who mostly ran out their starters.

We got long looks at Aaron Kovar on the left and Cristian Roldan in the middle, as well as Jimmy Ockford and Darwin Jones. Captain Zach Scott and veteran Gonzalo Pineda were there to hold the team together. Marco Pappa made his return to the team as a sub and had 20 minutes to do Marco Pappa things.

So what's the verdict? How did this mixed team do in their individual performances?

Here's the scale:

Blank - player did not play enough to judge
1 - not a pro (USL/NASL/MLS) quality performance
4 - average USL starter
6 - average MLS starter
9 - MLS All Star
10 - MLS MVP-quality performance
