Clint Dempsey to join United States National Team after Toronto FC match

Sounders will not lose Brad Evans for either friendly.

Jurgen Klinsmann announced his roster for the friendlies against Peru (Sept 4th) and Brazil (Sept 8th). Former Sounder right back DeAndre Yedlin is now listed as midfielder and will be on the roster for both games. Current Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey will not be joining until after the September 5th game against Toronto FC. Michael Bradley also earned a delayed call.

Sounders centerback-center mid-right back Brad Evans did not receive a call. TFC's Jozy Altidore will not be in Seattle for the matchup between the star-studded Red v Green game. Future Sounder Jordan Morris was not called into the senior side, nor the U23s.

The full roster includes six MLS players, including Gonzalez and Zardes from the LA Galaxy who do not play during the break.

Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and Seattle Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey will be added to the U.S. roster for the match against Brazil, and goalkeeper William Yarbrough will return to his club and be replaced by Chicago Fire ‘keeper Sean Johnson. Any additional changes will be determined following the game against Peru.
