Facing the same opponent twice in five days with the playoffs and Champions League advancement on the line is more than tough, but that is the hand the Seattle Sounders have been dealt. It definitely is a "must win game" for the Sounders.

Seattle Sounder academy product Daniel "Danny" Robles has been called into the US U15 Boys National Team camp this week in Southern California. This is the first camp for the 2002 age group and starts the preparation for the 2019 U17 World Cup.

The Chicago Fire lost 1-0 Saturday night, Sunday they announced head coach Frank Yallop and assistant coaches Brian Bliss and Clint Mathis have been let go. Tuesday it got worse for the fire with Goalkeeper Sean Johnson and defender Eric Gehrig both declared out for the remainder of the season.

It hasn't been all fun in LA LA land as the former England captain has forced a reshuffle in the LA Galaxy’s midfield and his team is suffering as a result. Flying back to England midweek to commentate on a Champions  League game doesn't help.

First Andres Guardado went down with an ankle knock, now it's a Rafa Marquez injury. Marquez and Guardado will miss the deciding CONCACAF match on October 10 against the United States.

The 2015 Cup hasn't been awarded yet, but that hasn't stopped U.S. Soccer from announcing first round match-ups for the 2016 U.S. Open Cup. The first round kicks off October 17 and finishes October 25.

Robert Lewandowski was subbed on at half for Thiago Alcantara and commenced with the scoring. Lewandowski scored five goals in nine minutes and notched the fastest hat trick in Bundesliga history by netting three goals in 3 minutes and 22 seconds earning "Super Sub of the Week Award"

It wasn't the dream debut DeAndre Yedlin envisioned, but he still stood out in the 4-1 loss against Manchester City. Yedlin had the assist for Sunderland's lone goal. If you thought his cross was great you might not have read this Harvard study.

He didn't have to ask "Why me?" last night. Mario Balotelli's talent and hair was on display for all to see in the first five minutes of AC Milan's 3-2 victory over Udinese.
