Do you remember the last time Chad Barrett scored? Well, he does. It was back on Aug. 9 when he finished off a beautiful Erik Friberg pass in the 1st minute. Nice goal and all, but what made it memorable was that he pulled up with a hamstring injury while celebrating.
Barrett scored his first goal since that day on Wednesday, heading in a Marco Pappa free kick in the 39th minute to give the Seattle Sounders a 2-0 lead over the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Champions League group stage match. Nice enough goal, too.
But this one will be mostly memorable for the celebration, as well. Here it is:
