There won't be any bias found in this space: Being able to attend a Seattle sporting event live almost always takes precedence over watching another regular season game on TV, even if it is the Seattle Sounders in an intense playoff race. From section 300 of CenturyLink Field, my only impressions of the game (prior to watching the highlights last night) were bits of the online broadcast in my headphones before the battery died, followed by occasional updates on a seat-mate's phone, then following bits while desperately attempting to charge my handheld at the (terrible) Verizon phone charging stations during halftime. I MISSED LOCKETT'S RETURN FOR YOU SOUNDERS. I MISSED HIS RETURN. The elation of seeing the Seahawks win for the first time since January was totally eclipsed by the news that Sporting KC had tied it late. Legitimately ruined the evening.
For all of you who value the Sounders more than a $120 (resale) football game, this is your chance to let me know what I should think of each player's performance before I watch the replay tomorrow night.
