Osvaldo Alonso picks up a yellow for 'diving', will miss next match

Just when it looked like the Seattle Sounders were getting to full strength, it appears they will be without Osvaldo Alonso for next week's match against the San Jose Earthquakes. Alonso came into the Toronto FC match sitting on four yellows for the season and knew he had to be careful. It's safe to say he didn't plan on picking up his fifth yellow for what referee Ted Unkel deemed a dive.

That's, at the very least, borderline and pretty harsh either way. There's no process in place for challenging yellow cards, which means Alonso will almost certainly be forced to sit.
