Say this for Clint Dempsey: When he smells a goal, he's like a dog with a bone. The Seattle Sounders forward gave us another example of his tenacious ability to chase a play on Saturday, following Obafemi Martins' brilliant run to give the Sounders a 2-1 lead.
That was Dempsey's eight goal in just his 14th league appearance. Earlier in the day he had picked up his seventh assist.
