Every year, the crowd of Seattle Sounders fans who show up for the first official day of preseason training seems to be get bigger and bigger. Saturday proved to be no different. Despite a steady rainfall and chilly temperature, what appeared to be a crowd of a couple hundred people showed up at Starfire Sports Complex to watch the Sounders play short-sided games.
The crowd came equipped with tifo and even broke into song on a few occasions.
The players definitely noticed. Here's a roundup of some of their Twitter reactions:
Pouring rain and still so many fans came to Starfire to help us start our preseason! You guys are AMAZING!!! #Traditions #EBFG #SeattleLove
