Without the services of Alonso, Dempsey, Ivanschitz and Remick the Seattle Sounders head to Frisco, Texas for a key match. If they win they advance to the MLS Cup Playoffs. If they lose they will need help, or to win at home next Sunday. All of the Western Conference matches are supposed to kickoff at the same time. TV coverage starts at 2 PM with kick likely at 2:28 PM, or so.
Mark Geiger is the center ref for the game in his 159th MLS match. Clint Dempsey is still out due to his heart issue. Dylan Remick will miss today’s match with a concussion. Andreas Ivanschitz is out with a knee sprain. Oalex Anderson, Brad Evans and Alvaro Fernandez are all listed as questionable. Zach Loyd will be absent from Dallas’ lineup due to a concussion. Osvaldo Alonso and Maynor Figueroa are both suspended from the match. Matt Hedges will be suspended from his next match if he receives a caution.
