Since taking over for the Sounders after Schmid’s dismissal in late July, Schmetzer has a 7-1-4 record. Schmetzer assisted Schmid for his entire tenure in Seattle—from 2009 until this year.
Sigi also had some thoughts on the Supporters’ Shield:
