The Sounders will face Sporting Kansas City tonight in their first playoff match of the season. For coverage of that match, click pretty much any other link on the Sounder At Heart front page.

The Columbus Crew will lose the horrible kits that are probably at least partially responsible for their awful season.

Wade Barrett has been operating as the head coach of the Houston Dynamo. The club has decided that they will not offer him the opportunity to remove the "interim" title.

Meanwhile in Vancouver (where they also missed the playoffs), head coach Carl Robinson has been signed to a long-term deal.

Whitecaps defender Kendall Waston will be suspended to start 2017 for violent conduct against Fernando Adi.

In case you missed it during Decision Day, Kei Kamara was carded for twerking.

Forbes is congratulating MLS on a very successful year and argues that the league can no longer be left out of discussions about the top leagues in the US.

MLS has released the full offseason schedule, so we can finally start counting down the days to much-anticipated events such as the Re-Entry Draft.

With the NASL seemingly on the verge of collapse, the New York Cosmos are already lamenting the loss of the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

US International Julian Green earned a start for Bayern Munich and scored his first goal for the senior team.

Researchers have discovered that heading a soccer ball can cause immediate (but seemingly temporary) degradation to memory.
