I have no more words, really. I’m still processing that nail-biter and reveling in Nelson Valdez’ breakthrough, still smiling as I watch replays of Feilhaber’s meltdown at referee Ismail Elfath, still watching Stefan Frei’s saves replay in my mind’s eye.
But even while all that settles in, all we can do is rate, because there’s really not much time in the packed playoff schedule. So let’s get down to brass tacks: Who did good and who did bad, democracy style.
Here's the scale:
(Substitutes can be left blank if the player did not play enough to judge)
1 - not a pro (USL/NASL/MLS) quality performance
4 - average USL starter
6 - average MLS starter
9 - MLS All Star
10 - MLS MVP-quality performance
