Well, there are still 90 minute to go, but the Seattle Sounders certainly have breathing room in this two-leg semifinal against FC Dallas. Three goals will do that. Thanks to Nelson Valdez’ newfound goalscoring form and some excellent service from Joevin Jones (not to mention continued good performances from Jordan Morris and Nico Lodeiro), Seattle dominated the second half of this first match.
How were the individual shifts in this one? Zach Scott stepped in and helped earn the clean sheet. Cristian Roldan returned to his more comfortable central role, and Erik Friberg took on an advanced central position with Jordan Morris making runs on the wing to his left.
