Talking to fans on a Facebook Live video Jurgen Klinsmann mostly concentrated on the state of the team after the 2-1 loss to Mexico. But he also spoke of Seattle Sounders forward-midfielder Clint Dempsey, because “a lot of you are asking how he’s doing.”

Dempsey is out for the rest of 2016 due to heart irregularities. Dempsey has attended some Sounders games while unable to play.

“He and I shoot text messages back and forth,” Klinsmann said. “He's doing great. It looks really good, it looks promising that he's going to come back, hopefully by the beginning of next year, unfortunately not this time anymore now."

"We are always with Clint. We always are in our thoughts with him. And we are sure that we are going to see him early next year again," Klinsmann ended his Dempsey statement with confidence.

Here and ready to take your questions.

Speaking about Tim Howard, the Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Klinsmann said, “We don’t know yet, how big the injury is, but he’s definitely out for our game on Tuesday.” He described it as a muscle injury. Howard played only 40 minutes in the loss on Friday night.
