UPDATE: Roman Torres ended up playing 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Mexico.
Even though he has missed the last two Sounders playoff games due to a hamstring injury, a tweet from Panama soccer site SomosLaSele reported that Román Torres is set to make his 100th cap for Panama in their upcoming World Cup Qualifying match against Mexico on Tuesday night.

Torres picked up the injury in the Knockout Round playoff game against Sporting Kansas City. He missed the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals against FC Dallas but was available off the bench for the second leg in Dallas.
Torres was called in to Panama for their two games against Honduras and Mexico. He was in the 18 for their game against Honduras but didn’t see the field. It now seems that he will start in the game against Mexico.
It’s almost a good bet that he plays the full 90 as well as this is a crucial game for Panama as they have an opportunity to find themselves at the top of the Hex.
If he does play the full 90 against Mexico, let’s hope that he is fully healed and will come out of this game without further injury.
