The Seattle Sounders announced on Friday that several iconic area landmarks across Seattle plan to light-up Rave Green this coming week.
The Sounders will be honored during the second quarter of the Seattle Seahawks-Philadelphia Eagles game this Sunday. Head coach Brian Schmetzer and MLS Rookie of the Year Jordan Morris will be special guests as the Seahawks salute the Sounders in their playoff journey.
The Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium both showed their spirit on Friday. At Woodland Park Zoo, soccer balls were incorporated into several of the animals’ life enrichment programs. The zoo is also offering $3 off admission from November 19-20 by wearing any Sounders sports item when visiting.

The aquarium displayed their Sounders spirit above and below the water. Divers displayed Sounders scarves in the aquarium’s Windows on Washington Waters display. Harbor seals and river otters all received soccer balls for their enrichment. Sea otters received soccer-themed ice treats as well.

Sports!
It’s nice to see the city get behind the Sounders. For them to even be in this position is amazing. First leg of the Western Conference Finals is being played Tuesday, November 22nd with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 pm PT and can be seen on FS1.
