As if you weren’t counting down the days, tomorrow November 22nd, your Sounders FC are set to host the Colorado Rapids with kickoff set for 7:00 PM. FOX Sports is sending a studio show team to Seattle to cover the highly-anticipated match. Commentator Rob Stone will host studio coverage along with former MLS defender Alexi Lalas live from CLink. Lead play-by play commentating will be done by John Strong and former MLS goalkeeper Brad Friedel and Jairo Moncada and Alvaro Izquierdo will be covering FOX Deportes in Spanish.
This year also marks the first time Fox will cover the 2016 MLS Cup final and the first time since 2008 that the MLS Cup will air live on an English-language network television.
The Sounders are looking for their first MLS Cup Final appearance after defeating FC Dallas 4-2 on aggregate, while the Rapids are trying for their third appearance and second title. Coverage will be aired on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
