A you surely know by now, Seattle will be facing Toronto in the MLS Cup. The match to determine that went all of the way to extra time. Here are game summaries from both Waking the Red and Mount Royal Soccer.

As tense as the game was, it did give fair reason to question the handling of head injuries by MLS.

In a big move for Canadian players, MLS has tweaked their rules so that most upcoming canucks will no longer count as internationals for any MLS team.

Don Garber apparently loves FC Cincinnati, does that put them on the expansion short list?

It's been a really long time since the Timbers last played soccer, so they've moved on to previewing new kits.

Speaking of offseasons, the MLS combine and draft are both officially set to occur in LA in January.

With Bruce Arena off to the National Team, the LA Galaxy have named a new general manager. Long term coaching decisions have yet to be made.

The purported leak of the official MLS ball for 2017 looks either amazing or horrific, depending on who you ask. Personally, I'm gonna go with "gaudy."

The NASL is hanging on by a thread, if it is hanging on at all. Conflicting headlines this week have made it clear that nobody really seems to even know the current status of it's poster team, the New York Cosmos.

Rayo OKC just started in the NASL for the 2016 season, but the ownership reportedly isn't even present at the NASL governors meetings and the player contracts have been dissolved.

Stars and Stripes FC has a summary of Bruce Arena's coaching philosophy and how they might impact the US National Team.

One thing that Bruce has talked openly about is the need to improve US passing. Does this make Sacha Klejstan an ideal candidate for the remade team?
