Seattle Sounders at Toronto FC, MLS Cup Final: Game time, TV schedule and live stream for the championship

After eight seasons of success the Seattle Sounders sit on the pinnacle. Greatness is just a few moments away. They travel to BMO Field, facing Toronto FC in the biggest match either team has had in their well supported, championless MLS years. Tonight that changes. At 5 PM (Fox, UniMas, TSN, RDS) MLS Cup 2016 starts (well, at about 5:15 it starts) and a first time champion will be crowned.

This is a single leg championship. There are no aggregate goal or away goal rules. If tied after 90 two 15-minute halves will be played. If it remains tied the match will be decided with five penalty kicks.

Alan Kelly is the center referee. He’s the best in the league.

Clint Dempsey and Oalex Anderson are out. Osvaldo Alonso, Brad Evans and Erik Friberg are questionable. TFC has no injuries to report.

Yellow card accumulation does not matter. A red card would mean the player misses 2017’s opening night, which would be just fine if their team wins.
