UPDATE: The Sounders have confirmed that this is more of a training session than a trial.
Seattle Sounders Homegrown player, Aaron Kovar is on trial at Hibernian FC (Hibs) in the Scottish Championship, a second-tier Scottish team in Edinburgh, Scotland. Kovar who scored his first career MLS goal in a 2-1 loss to the New England Revolution hasn’t seen many minutes since his clavicle fracture in US Open Cup Play.

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has reportedly brought on Kovar for an extended stay giving him a chance to impress and show-off. Apparently, Kovar wants to “come home for Christmas” so he’ll be back by then. But, a big move could be just what sparks his fire.
Hibs is currently holding the No. 1 spot in the Scottish Championship for the 2016/17 season at 34 points in 16 games played.
This is the third straight offseason that Kovar has spent time with a team in the United Kingdom. In January, he trained with Preston North End and in the previous offseason he was with Sheffield Wednesday.
