As is our annual tradition, it is time to let our community rank the Sounders players by how much you think they contributed to the team's success in the 2016 season. And this season it was a lot of success. Even the least contributing contributors contributed to a championship, so we love them all.
We include the number of minutes played in MLS and CCL competitions as a rough guideline to how involved the player was, but ultimately the standard by which you rank the players is up to you.
As a reminder, the top 5 from the 2015 season were:

- Brad Evans
- Chad Marshall
- Clint Dempsey
