It’s been a pretty amazing few months for Roman Torres. It was only Aug. 28 when Torres returned from a knee injury that cost him nearly a year’s worth of playing time. But that didn’t stop him from playing a key part in the Seattle Sounders’ run to their first-ever MLS Cup.
Torres started 12 of the Sounders’ last 14 matches, helped resuscitate what seemed like a pretty down locker room and even had the winning penalty kick in the championship game. He also apparently found time to get a tattoo of himself and ride a dolphin, something he shared on Twitter the other night.

Give this to Torres, the guy certainly knows how to live. It’s not shock that his teammates all seem to absolutely love him.
