Many are wishing Seattle Sounders FC luck in their fast approaching cup tie, with former players Fredy Montero and Gonzalo Pineda already making their feelings known and a surprise cameo by a Sounders jersey on SNL. Perhaps the most famous of them all has now entered the fray.

Yes, That is Luis Suarez, a man who has scored 65 goals for Barcelona and 47 for Uruguay’s National Team. While it isn’t the biggest surprise, Suarez played with Nicolas Lodeiro at Ajax and the two often room together when playing for Uruguay (Suarez once helped translate a Lagerwey call to Lodeiro), it is still cool to have one of the world’s best strikers throw in for the Sounders.
It will be 2 A.M. in Barcelona when MLS Cup kicks off so Suarez is unlikely to be watching but one can only hope that Suarez will get the chance to send his Uruguayan teammates a congratulatory message when he wakes up Sunday morning.
