Seattle's city seal featured in 2016 Sounders kits

You'll have to wait another day before seeing the Seattle Sounders full new kits, but to help get people interested in their new app the team has continued to release teasers. Today was a virtual treasure trove in that regard, as this video gives us all sorts of insight into various details:

The two most notable details are actually shared on the team's website as well:

Yes, that's the Seattle city seal featuring Chief Sealth. The seal was apparently put there by suggestion of the Alliance Council and is a nice addition. You can also see the repeating "S" pattern that the team teased last week.

We even took it a step further and created a mockup of the shirt based on these various clues:

The Sounders also shared a gray-scaled version of the goalkeeper kits:

There will also be a new third kit released, but nothing here seems to be giving any more hints.

It should also be said that while the app appears to have some cool new features, there have been widespread complaints about being able to actually access it and compatibility with various devices.
